Everquest 2 Network Error The Server Is Not Responding
by ARCHIVED-Argentor, Jan 10, 2007. ARCHIVED-Argentor Guest Hello, I have logged in and played yesterday after I took a break for half a year, there weren't any problems. Now today I'm trying all day already to log in and always getting above error msg. Internet is properly connected and there hasn't been any change here, so I feel a little weird about this. I tried both US and UK servers, both the same. I assume that the servers are not down. Firewall is switched off as well. Any help would be appreciated! I experience exactly the same problem for the past two days. Only when I bypass the patcher by starting the client application I am able to play but not very stable. Once I camp a character I can't log on the same one again. Any way to reinstall the patcher? Maybe some files are corrupted. ARCHIVED-Mirakan, Jan 10, 2007 #2 ARCHIVED-Argentor Guest I think the problem might be related to the earthquake in Taiwan 2 weeks ago which busted a couple of seacables. I am in the Philippines so it effected me a lot, the net is still very sluggish if I try to reach EU servers, though it worked pretty ok yesterday. Today there is no way I can connect :-\ Btw how do you bypass the launch pad? Ok I found it and I'm in now, thank for the tip It seens the launchpad timeout is to fast to connect. However, I was able to log on to via the patcher one week after the quake happened. Only now it doesn't work. Might be that they are changing something. The game has been very stable for the last 10-12 days but today I have gotten a launchpad failure several times, it appears there is a patch coming through for the launchpad itself. Thread Tools 06-05-2009, 04:27 PM #1 Sierrus Loremaster Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 40 getting this error message on my computer and my girlfriends aswell, i quit playing eq2 a cple yrs ago and figure i'd give it another go since i messed up a leg and am off work and on crutches for the next 4 months.it sais it's my connection, which it's not i tried both i am using Shaw cable 15MB, i also have a Telus DSL 3MB connection i tried on both of them, on both computers over the past 2 days still getting this error when i try to log into my account, it's also not firewalls as they are all disabled, i am using windows vista, and downloaded a digital copy of EQ2, my account has not been renewed until i can sit comftorably at my computer for more t han https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq2/index.php?threads/network-error-the-server-is-not-responding.54488/ 20 min, i figured thi smight be the problem but it is not aswell... because my girlfriend did purchase her game and time already but cannot log in perhaps an extended login server downtime because of the new expansion ?
