Extract Error Writing To File Origin
to file xxx I'm trying to install OO Portable and keep getting the error message "Extract: Error writing to file xxx," Where xxx is a different filename seemingly dependent on where I try to install. The only extract error writing to file windows button on the error message is OK. I press that and the installation does not continue, and remains at that file until I press Cancel. I tried to install to a network drive Q:\Global Share\Install\OpenOffice\ and got the error message for "th_en_US_v2.dat." Figuring the path was too long, I then tried installing to G:\OpenOffice\ (another network drive) and got it for "off-office_l.ott." Finally, just tried to d:\oo\ (local drive) and got the message for error opening file for writing windows 7 "pri-mail_l.ott." Repeating the installation to the above locations gives the same error message, depending on which location. OOPortable version 2.4 (OpenOffice_Portable_2.4_en-us.paf.exe) Windows XP,sp2 I have file permissions and enough space on the above paths. I've even tried installing as administrator. G: and Q: above are NTFS network drives; D: is a local Fat32 partition (internal fixed drive). Any suggestions? I get it for both 2.4.1 and the 3.0beta. And it's a different file for each different location that it hangs on. Any ideas?
