17, 2016 at 2:47 UTC I found it under optional updates and going to install it now 0 Habanero OP OverDrive Jun 17, 2016 at 2:54 UTC So your WSUS server does not check onsearchcomplete - failed to end search job. error = 0x80244019. itself for approved updates? That's kind of off.All systems in your entire network should point to the WSUS for updates via the GPO, including itself. WSUS will download the update list directly from Microsoft and then Windows will look to WSUS for which updates to install. 0 Sonora OP alexb10 Jun 17, 2016 at 3:07 UTC I haven't implemented servers to our environment yet as I am in the testing phase for warning: nws failure: errorcode=0x803d000d wsus for few clients only to see how it works and then will push to all machines eventually. now WSUS is broke after the KB update and I am following your instructions. will post shortly 0 Sonora OP alexb10 Jun 17, 2016 at 3:33 UTC Followed the instructions and WSUS is backup and running, now the issue im still having is with client to report :( 0 Sonora OP alexb10 Jun 17, 2016 at 3:50 UTC I deleted a computer from wsus and then add it back and now its showing unknown no, the computers are named differently and from the same OU container Edited Jun 20, 2016 at 8:49 UTC 0 Thai Pepper OP kevinhughes2 Jun 17, 2016 at 3:50 UTC Were these machines cloned by any chance? I have only been able to try this with the one Windows 7 client so far, and will be trying it with other computers as soon as I have a chance when they aren't being used. When I go to Windows Update and click the button to download updates, it gives an error of "code 80244019: Windows Update encountered an unknown error."
