subject: Error in File Test.rpt: Failed to load database information Hi All, I have created areport in Crystal against Universe and published in the Server. But while accessing it through web I got the sollowing http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1405219 error Error in File Test.rpt: Failed to load database information I have installed BO XI Server on Linux machine and BO XI client is on windows 2000 machine. I have added TNS Entry into the TnsNames.ora file. The universe is also published in the repository. Universe has been created by using Oracle Driver. Have you logged into repository and created report? Are you able to run the report in Desktop? If your able to run and save the report in WEB by using credintials then fine and only thing you have to make sure ask your admin to save the database username/password credintials in the Business Objects enterprise server. I did upload the report by logging to the Business Objects server using a URL like http://uwtrdstsg01/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin/en/admin.cwr. I upload the rpt file using home->folder->user folder->new object to upload the repor

Cause This error occurs because Business Objects/SAP did failed to not include some necessary software components in the Crystal Reports runtime components that Report Commander uses. Resolution This problem can be resolved by installing the Java Runtime Environment (if not already present) and copying some files to the computer from a Crystal Reports 2008 installation on another computer.
