This is not a BOBJ issue. When you publish a report in BO then the data source must be accessible from your server since the reports run on the server itself. If not, that is some, if not all of your problem. The other thing you need to do when you publish or update a report on either server, is make sure you log in to the CMC and set the Database Configuration on the report.
