Reply with quote Back to top DataStage Release: 7x Job Type: Server OS: Windows Additional info: ‘dsapi_server.exe’ file was removed I have an issue with Datastage failed to connect to information server engine 81011 7.5 Server edition in windows box. I am unable to connect to the GUI(Datastage Director,Designer,Manager & Administrator) from client machine as well as from server box. However all the datastage jobs are running in background Error Message: Failed to connect to host: "HOSTNAME" ,Project :UV (Internal Error (81012)) While investigating found that one of the required ‘dsapi_server.exe’ file was internal error failed to initialize the cdsrepos initstage 10 removed by the Antivirus software of the server box.I have tried to restore the file from antivirus vault which has not worked. “dsapi_server.exe” file from “C:\Ascential\DataStage\Engine\bin” folder Can anyone please assist me on this issue. That's a good reason why! So, you need to find a way to restore that file. project fails. Symptom Creating a project fails during the installation of InfoSphere Information Server, when using the Administrator client, or when using the dsadmin command.
