The Module Dll Failed To Load. The Data Is The Error

I'm new to these forums, and hoping someone can lend me a hand. :) I am using IIS 7 on Vista Ultimate SP1 (32bit) on my dev machine https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd349226(v=ws.10).aspx (64bit). This machine sits on a corporate network. IIS was working at one point, but that was a few months back. Now, my default site returns an HTTP 503 when I try to open issstart.htm (or any site on localhost). 1) The first problem I noticed is a message when testing pass-through authentication: "Cannot verify access to path (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\)." I've tried everything I can think of to resolve this issue permission-wise, with no luck. I even granted "Everone" permission https://forums.iis.net/t/1156584.aspx?HTTP+503+Service+Unavailable to the path, "domain\machinename", etc. 2) In my Application Event Log, I have a 2280 error - "The Module DLL C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\compdyn.dll failed to load. The data is the error.". I have this dll entry in the "Global" section of the applicationHost.config file (IIS-W3SVC-WP). I hae Static Compression checked, Dynamic Compression unchecked. I've tried combinations of these as well. 3) I've tried multiple times to install/uninstall IIS and WAS through Programs and Features, and every time I get "An error has occurred. Not all of the features were successfully changed.". Nothing is removed or added from my machine. I've even tried an elevated cmd line uninstall - it didn't error, but didn't uninstall anything either. The frustrating part for me is that I don't consider IIS setup to be "rocket-science", and I have IIS on my dev box at home working. It's an identical setup except that my machine at home is a x86. It is also Vista Ultimate SP1. I have seen a lot of posts and suggestions of things to check, but I'm still stuck. If anyone out there has any ideas, I would be greatful to hear/try them. As some have said in other posts - "I'm pulling my hair out". I'm not but about 2 days from wiping the box and starting with a fresh Vista install. :) Thanks, Shawn HTTP 503 Reply anilr 2343 Posts Microsoft Re: HTTP 503

It says Job memory is full/not enough or something. I have deleted some jobs to failed to make more space and see if anything solves the problems.Interestingly, the macro jobs I am trying to upload were previously uploaded to the controller without any error. They also executed normally, after that I wanted to change a variable value (a flag value...SET LB001 1 from LB001 0) in one of the job. Then I got the error 2280, code is dll failed to 3. I deleted the job and tried to upload the jobs again but now, it won't upload and shows the same error.Further Info: 3 macro jobs. macro job 3 calls macro job 2 which call macro job 1. macro job 1 is uploaded without any problem. Controller is DX100.Can anyone know the solution or suggestion? « Last Edit: June 04, 2013, 08:01:11 AM by motorobo » Logged motorobo Jr. Member Thank You -Given: 8 -Receive: 5 Posts: 76 Re: Error 2280 « Reply #1 on: June 04, 2013, 12:22:57 PM » Solved! The deleted jobs were in trash and were not permanently deleted thus taking up job memory. As soon as I deleted the trash, the memory came back and now I can upload job once again. Looks like we are receiving every time IIS restarts, or the server is restarted. Also, the agent GUI shows that the bootstrap isn't loaded. Right now the system is down so no traffic is going through the app pools to clear the error. Tried searching for this event ID error but did not find a page. Anyone have any ideas? Seems like you have enabled the 64bit Dynatrace Web SErver Agent Module. That can only be loaded if your AppPools also run as 64bit. You can verify that through the advanced settings on the App Pool Defintion in IIS Manager If it is a 32bit App Pool you need to select the 32bit dynatrace agent and deselect the 64bit version Comment People who like this Close 0 · Share 10 |2000 characters needed characters left characters exceeded ▼ Viewable by all users Viewable by moderators Viewable by moderators and the original poster Advanced visibility Viewable by all users Answer by Andrew K. · Jul 03, 2015 at 08:00 PM The system had issues with their web02/03 servers with the Webserver Agent for IIS. After installing, the “Webserver Agent” service did not start prompting “Access is denied”. We thought it was a permissions issue. Eventually, we discovered that IIS did not have the DynaTrace modules available for selection. Going through the IIS Modules GUI, there is a register button that allows you to add the modules manually. See Troubleshooting at the bottom of the page: https://community.dynatrace.com/community/display/DOCDT62/Microsoft+IIS+Web+Server+Agent+Configuration After manually addin
