(I received a "The database files in this storage are inconsistent" message when I tried to mount them). I followed Microsoft Kb 906148 and confirmed using eseutil they were in a 'dirty shutdown' state. I have restored them from a backup following instructions in the kb,and confirmed that they are in a 'clean shutdown' state. Now when I try http://forums.msexchange.org/Problems_mounting_mailbox_and_public_folder_stores/m_1800506457/tm.htm to mount the mailbox store, I get a message from exchange system manager "An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the exchange system manager or the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service or both. Id no c1041724" The application log indicates that ESE has initiated recovery steps, and it moves through the logs up to and including the final one, but then there is a message from ESE, event ID 454 saying "Information Store (7940) First Storage Group: Database recovery/restore failed with unexpected error 515", then msexchangeIS event 9518 "failed to initialise Jet" and msexchangesa event 9175 "The MAPI call openmsgstore failed with the following error: the microsoft exchange computer is not available..." If I restart Exchange System Manager or MSExchange Informatin Store or both, this doesn't change the situtation (it generates a host of information messages followed by the same ESE error, and a msexchangeis event 9518 "error 0xfffffdfd starging storage group... failed to initialise Jet" and I get the same messages when I try to mount the mailbox store. What should I try next? Loads of thanks to anyone who can help. _____________________________Tony Post #: 1 Featured Links* RE: Problems mounting mailbox and public folder stores - 9.Apr.2009 7:05:27 AM is
