Gepubliceerd op 14 feb. 2014I am sharing a simple self-made video how to solve CPU fan error. In order to make this message disappear from a PC on startup you have to get into the bios settings of your computer. To get into the bios settings you have to press Del, F1 or F2 (varies according the different motherboard) while starting your computer as shown in this video. After getting into the bios search for fan control settings, I have to enter into the Power tab of the bios settings on this motherboard to get into the CPU Fan speed. On this motherboard CPU fan speed is N/A by default & I have to change it to Ignored to make the message of CPU fan error disappear on startup. In some motherboard the rpm of CPU fan warning is highlighted by default at 600 rpm & if you lower the rpm to 300 rpm the CPU fan error will disappear. But do remember to save the bios setting before exit by pressing F10 as shown in this video to remove the CPU fan error warning message. Press F1 to Resume (Heres an image of the error on start up) At first i looked down at my fan and saw that it continued to spin after this error, so I took no notice of the warning. That was 5 days ago... today i bent down to fan error pick up something and saw that my fan wasn't even moving! I quickly removed the case cover worried that my cpu will overheat.. Can anyone explain why my fan stopped working? Did my reformat erase a driver or something thats needed for the fan? Take the fan out, connect it up to an external power supply. What happens ? Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top Richard0600 Posts: 51 This post has been reported. I dont think i'm that comfortable with handling computers, I've never assembled one before... so taking out the fan seems a bit too complicated... and if there are no other solutions to this problem I will probably haul my computer back down to the shop... but as for the moment is there any other method? The red light on the fan still lights up its just the fans not spinning, so i believe there is still power going into the fan if that was what your question was directed at. I did some looking around on the internet and I see a lot of people recommend me going into the bios screen to see wheth
