Windows 7, I received thefollowingerrormessage: Guys you can also try workaround which is for Windows 8 & 8.1. A fatal error occurred while trying to Sysprep the machine. After spending failure occurred while executing 'drmv2clt.dll sysprep' quite time I found the soution for the error. And the solution is, 1. either the machine is in an invalid state sysprep Go to Sysprerpfolderi.e. c:\windows\system32\sysprep\Panther 2. Then move or delete all contents of the Panther folder to another folder for backup microsoft-windows-security-spp skiprearm purpose. 3. Now run the sysprep.exe For few user's sysprerp starts bystopping mediaplayer process running and by uninstalling & installing mstdc. For me everything without success but above steps works 100%.
