File Creation Error - The System Cannot Find The Path Specified
(F9) the creation of my videos. Can anyone help? Comments Dazang September 2013 I just uninstalled CamStudio and re-installed only to encounter the same proble.Anyone have any suggestions? TerryBritton September 2013 Usually that comes about from the file being too large. Can you tell how big the file size became? What compression are you using? If you know what folder the temp files are being created in, look in there file creation error - the directory is not empty to see if there are some date-stamp named items and see how big they are for me.Have you run some very short tests to see if they finish? If even short ones aren't saving, then you might be attempting to save to your Program Files/Camstudio folder which you system security suddenly is not allowing you to write into. Under Options/Program Options/Name of AVI File change the setting to "Ask for Filename" and save the video explicitly into your My Videos folder, or a folder you make inside of that folder. Let me know what you find out!Terry TerryBritton September 2013 Also, see this post I just made to give yourself some protection against crashes.http://camstudio.org/forum/discussion/1305/hot-tip-for-crash-recovery-use-a-failsafe-directoryTerry TerryBritton September 2013 Also see this post on using FFMPEG rather then VirtualDub to rescue files:http://camstudio.org/forum/discussion/comment/3580#Comment_3580Terry Dazang November 2013 Terry,I feel like such a "bonehead", it turns out my problem was realted to me running out of space on my hard drive. I had created too many videos of excessive length that finally ate up all my hard drive space.Thank you for your support,David TerryBritton November 2013 David,Heh... don't feel too lonely - I've done that very thing myself! :-)Terry Sign In or Register to comment. The problem lies with the MakeWinPEMedia.cmd After the script partitions and reformats the flash drive, the disk appears offline for about 10 seconds (can be verified if you have Explorer open). This for some reason messes up XCOPY in the way the command is written. SOLUTION: Open MakeWinPEMedia.cmd using notepad (notepad "C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\8.1\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Windows Preinstallation Environment\MakeWinPEMedia.cmd") REPLACE: xcopy /herky "%WORKINGDIR%\%TEMPL%" "%DEST%\" >NUL WITH xcopy /herky "%WORKINGDIR%\%TEMPL%\*.*" "%DEST%\*.*" >NUL notice the \*.* at two places, thats what somehow makes XCOPY wait for the disk to be ready and then cop
error log reports back the item label for which the error occurred. You can view the warning log by clicking on the Spreadsheets menu item and then clicking on the Warning Log selection. Pressing the ? hyperlink will open https://risa.com/risahelp/risa3d/Content/Common_Topics/Warning%20Log.htm the help file to give further explanation on this item. Here is a common warning which could require some additional explanation: Sum of reactions is not equal to the sum of the loads (LC xx)! Check for any small rigid http://www.emule-mods.de/?mods=slugfiller links or fixed boundary conditions. When the solution is complete, the program checks the sum of the reaction forces in each direction if this is more than 0.1% different from the sum of the applied loads, then this warning message file creation will be displayed. The most common causes for this warning message are the following: A joint instability which has been automatically LOCKED by the program. If the joint is locked then the reaction at that location is not computed. Once you rectify the instability then this warning log message should also go away. You may also need to uncheck the "Lock isolated ROTATIONALinstabilities without notification" box as this may conceal some instabilities. See the Stability section for more information. A file creation error user assigned boundary condition which was used the "Fixed, reaction will not be calculated" option rather than the "Reaction" option. See the Boundary Conditions section for more information. Using the term "Fixed" suppresses the reaction output in the Joint Reactions and thus the applied loads does not equal joint reactions. In this case the Warning Log could likely be ignored, as there is a valid reason for this discrepancy. A "ghost reaction" may have developed where one or more rigid elements (Diaphragms, rigid end offsets, or rigid links) have become so stiff that they actually became stiffer than the internal stiffness used by the program to define boundary conditions. In this rare case forces may be leaving the model at locations other than boundary conditions. Having a combination of a rigid diaphragm, rigid links, rigid end offsets, top of member offsets, etc., all in a localized place in the model could cause these.
