I am new to this forum. well i repomd.xml not found am having problems with yum. I use the graphical yumex to do my updates and installations. Lately ALL my repos get the same result as above. If so, have a look here to set up your yum http://www.stanton-finley.net/fedora...notes.html#Yum Yumex will pick up any changes. Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: updates-released I'd like to get Yum working so I can install vim, ntp, and rsync. Sounds to me like it may be having trouble contacting one of them... –Mike
