For Compupic Version 4.6 see posts from members 789 and Koolie dated 9th December further down this thread. Has anyone been able to get Compupic Image Viewer for Linux version 5.1 to work in Puppy? It is one of the best and fastest viewers in Windows so I thought the Linux version would be worth trying as gtksee, xnview etc. are pretty ordinary. Now on Windows my preferred viewer was Compupic. Nothing I tried was faster, not Irfanview, not ACDsee. Now I know the linux version of Compupic is old but that alone does not make it bad. It is effectively freeware. So why is it not worth a look? Has anyone tried to get it running in Puppy? I have no idea how serious the error is as I do not have a Linux background. If it is pointless to pursue it just let me know and I will shut up. Thanks.
