Yes, you may have something in the drain motor, that would also cause the error code 41 issue. I'd first check for an obstruction in the drain motor itself. Its very easy to get access to the drain motor. Lots of times I see these get clogged with stuff and not drain properly, just remove the hoses that connect to it and check to see if anything is inside it. Get a bunch of old towels to soak up water that will come out. Or you can use hose pinch-off pliers to keep the water from flooding out. The readings you are getting point to the control board. The symptoms could be a failed control, stuck button, or a faulty door lock mechanism. I have seen the door switch read within normal limits and still cause the E41 error. This is kind of a toss up between the two. The pau normally indicates the washer has been paused. First, try removing the power for 2 minutes to let the capacitor on the board bleed off the memory. Before you replace any parts I recommend taking the control out of the console. Make sure the pause button is not stuck or depressed. If the PAU still appears, unplug the pressure sensor, and then run the washer in a normal cycle for 10 to 15 minutes (it wont actually do anything). Then shut the unit down and plug the pressure sensor back in. this will reset the control board. If the washer still will not function I would probably try the door lock assembly first. The washer seems to wash and spin fine once it starts (it fully completes the wash cycle). It just beeps like crazy the entire cycle (the water temp panel lights flash), and alerting that there is an error (ERR). Even when the washer is not being used, it beeps constantly (so i just unplug it when not using it). Most times I can get the washer going despite the beeps, and despite not being able to select the preferred water temp (because the lights are cycling or flashing constantly). There have been a handful of times that it is beeping off the hook and will not respond to pressing the start button to get it going. There have also been a few times when the door would not lock right away, and the washer paused until I reopened and closed the door. After researching this forum and following the tests for E41 this is what I found (or didn't find). 1. Resistance of the PTC was approx. 1200 ohms (assuming i measured it correctly) 2. The door strike looks fine. 3. I tried the recommendation of starting the washer in spin mode for 5 minutes and then unplugging to see if the door would unlock, and it remains locked. 4.
