4Registered: June 2011 Location: d Junior Member Dear All, I'm facing oracle support this error: FRM-91120: Internal Error: Unable to load NLS character set when I try to run command runform50. I'm going crazy for days with this I've set my NLS_LANG to American_America.WE8ISO8859P1 (which the the same as my DB), I've set the ORA_NLS33, ORA_NLS32 and ORA_NLS vars https://community.oracle.com/community/developer/search.jspa?q=FRM-91111 to /usr/oracle/OraHOme1/ocommon/nls/admin/data I've set the NLSPATH to /usr/lib/nls/msg/%L/%N If I run runform50 command without any options, it shows me the help, so I think it is correctly installed.. I guess the same thing as you're probably thinking .. that I'm missing some charset ... but where ? they should be in ocommon/nls dir ? if so, I've http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/171806/ already installed pretty much everything of the developer2000 cd Tks for any help. Report message to a moderator Re: FRM-91120 Internal ERror: Unable to load NLS character set [message #510333 is a reply to message #510331] Fri, 03 June 2011 13:13 danigri Messages: 4Registered: June 2011 Location: d Junior Member It could be that I've copied the .fmx and .fmb files from other machine ? (even though the other machine contains exactly the same OS and DB versions installed) ? I'm not sure it could be so, but I cannot say it is not. Anyway, if I try to be polite and generate forms again running f50desm, I have other error: FRM-91111: Internal Error: window system startup failure FRM-10039: Unable to start up the Form Builder I really don't understand those errors, as they are not verbose enough for my limited QI Any ideas ? to start up the Form Builder. It should work right http://dbadump.blogspot.com/2011/07/it-pays-to-read-documentation.html out of the box, looks like the build config had changed much, here's the env file used:ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/ias10gdsexport ORACLE_HOMELD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/lib/sparc:$ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/lib/sparc/native_threadsexport LD_LIBRARY_PATHPATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/ucb:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X/bin:$ORACLE_HOME/OPatchexport PATHFORMS_PATH=/u01/app/sct/baninbr2/QUAL/forms/fmbexport FORMS_PATHEventually found this documentation http://dbaforums.org/oracle/index.php?showtopic=2243 post about how to solve the problem. Basically since the last time we used forms builder on this server, the other Oracle homes required frm 10039 a change to NLS_LANG with a UTF8 characterset. Simply added the following to the above forms builder env file fixed the issue with forms builder:export NLS_LANG=Problem solved.
