when I tried to mount it manually [root@server ~]# mount /dev/sdb1 /local1/mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1, missing codepage or other error In some cases useful info is found

When I tried to remove Kubuntu, something went wrong and I ended up with a broken Grub. Then I repaired it with Boot Disk Repair but before Linpus loads, I can see plenty of lines of errors like this: EXT2-fs (sda1): error: ext2_lookup deleted inode referenced XXXX How can ext3 fs error I get rid of them? I don't want to install any other system, just left the laptop as it is with Linpus (I borrowed the laptop to do some things) linux share|improve this question asked Apr 14 '13 at 15:36 wryrych 138116 5 I'm not sure, but sometimes things like these are easily solved by a e2fsck -f /dev/sda1 (with sda1 unmounted). –Teresa e Junior Apr 14 '13 at 15:58 Complementing Teresa's remark: This usually means booting from a live / rescue medium. In order to avoid this need I always install a second, small service Linux which is accessible from a static boot manager configuration. –Hauke Laging Apr 14 '13 at 17:22 @TeresaeJunior thank you, it helped! Could you post it as an answer? –wryrych Apr 14 '13 at 18:29 @rrh you're welcome! Please! dishawjp23rd February 2007, 10:47 PMIt looks like you need to fsck your drive. Use the rescue disk or first disk to boot the computer. Then do the "chroot /mnt/sysimage" thing. Once you're there, create a file on the root directory named .forcefsck. One way to do this is to type as toor "touch /forcefsck" without the quotes. Reboot without the rescue disk and see if the fsck program can make the repairs. Good luck, Jim Dishaw pcinvent24th February 2007, 08:38 AMThanks for your help, Jim Dishaw. I used rescue disk to do the sysimage mount, it siad "No linux paration found. then, I typed "chroot /mnt/sysimage", it prompt that "Canot change root directory to /mnt/sysimage: No Such file or directory".
