page in Dreamweaver on the server it has the same content as another page the only difference is the filename. The original file is working fine but the duplicate is giving a 500 error. What would cause this and how can I solve it? I'm thinking it may be the way that the FTP within Dreamweaver is interacting with the server? Example: Working page - http://www.fibrefab.com/quotation.php Duplicate page - http://www.fibrefab.com/quotation-Copy.php dreamweaver share|improve this question an ftp error occurred dreamweaver cs5 edited Nov 18 '15 at 14:47 pnuts 33.7k63569 asked Mar 30 '12 at 9:40 Vince Pettit 1,07432463 Unsurprisingly there is nothing obvious in what we can publicly see in those pages. You'll have to change the error handling of PHP, or whatever is hiding the details of the 500 error. –Mark Hurd Mar 30 '12 at 10:22 Note that the page is "present", where as some other page, like fibrefab.com/Quotation.php just throws 404 not found. –Mark Hurd Mar 30 '12 at 10:27 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted Turns out that the duplicate page had no permissions set as default! The FTP connects & will upload some files but stalls with images. An example is an image called gov_logo.jpg . It is only 27kb but it stalls with only part of image on server. This is not the only problem image. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1745954 Time-out is set to 60 seconds & the image will upload with a different ftp client as my host has checked & tested it. I have seen lots of so called fixes & have tried all but have noticed this issue is unresolved for lots of people. Could someone please help. Thanks Chris 1403Views Categories: Dreamweaver FTP Tags: none (add) ftpContent tagged with ftp, access deniedContent tagged with access denied, problems with ftpContent tagged with problems with ftp, ftp permissionsContent tagged with ftp permissions This content has been marked as final. A few folks have commented today that a recent update of AVG is causing problems. If you are, try disabling it and test again. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. When I create a connection in the database window, and test it, it will show all the tables in the database. When I create a server behavior such as delete record, it will connect to the database and allow me to select the table I want. When I try to test the record set in the database bindings box, I get the error. The actual pages I create and upload to my server work with no problems.
