There was no problem this morning and I didn't change any settings anywhere. I wonder what happened and how I can connect again. I am using Dreamweaver CC on iMac OSX Mavericks. 12908Views Tags: none (add) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1501774 This content has been marked as final. Show 25 replies 1. Preran Jun 20, 2014 8:13 AM (in response to bigvissie13) Hi bigvissie13,Can you check with your service provider about the problem to see if they changed anything at their end? If everything was working as intended previously and you have made no changes to your computer, this would be the first step I would suggest. Thanks,Preran Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Solved can't connect to server via ftp from dreamweaver Posted on 2014-07-21 Adobe Dreamweaver Networking Protocols File Sharing Software 1 Verified Solution 22 Comments 2,237 Views Last Modified: 2014-07-26 I have a site at test-site.michianait.net that I am trying to update with Dreamweaver CS6. The connection credentials that works with Transmit on a Mac ( and Filezila ) do NOT work when set in Dreamweaver. As the site was built in Dreamweaver, it would be nice to be able to use the ftp client built-in to Dreamweaver to upload files. Is there something special I have to do in the Dreamweaver site definition that is different than what I use for the ftp credentials in Transmit or Filezila? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I found that I could not even connect with the Adobe test site (still complains about incorrect username/password) but I COULD connect with ftp.irs.gov using the username "anonymous" and no password. It seems Dreamweaver is having trouble with username/passwords, since both the Adobe test site and my own site require a username/password while the irs site only required a username. Both the Adobe test site and my own site work fine with FTP using Transmit on the Mac or Filezilla. Mark 0 LV
