Classic Nes Gba Roms Not Working
None of the Classic NES games work. When you load the ROM it > says "Game Pak Error - Please turn the Power off". Anyone > know why, and how to get around it? The "Game Pak Error" is a result of a copy protection they have implemented to detect sram, when the actual save type is EEPROM. With these roms, you have to manually set the save type to EEPROM. Now, there is another block that has yet to be figured out. It is something the the real hardware is doing correctly, that the emulator is not doing correctly. Right now, until somebody fully researches why, none of the famicom/nes classics are playable, even if you manually set the correct save type.

However, the Classic NES Series games can be played on the GBA with a flash cart to my knowledge, but they haven't been emulated yet. The same thing was with the Japanese version of the series (Famicom Mini Vols. 1 and 2).!

THE BIG J Welcome! If you're experiencing saving issues with the translation, try this: Check the Online Readme. Specifically, scroll down to the Troubleshooting section and read the first Q&A. It'll probably be useful. You probably need this patch. Especially
Classic Nes Legend Of Zelda Gba Rom
if you're going to be playing it on a flash cart. Most -- if not all -- legend of zelda nes rom flash carts require a save patch for GBA games to save properly. You need to apply this patch after applying the translation patch; the reason for nes emulator pc this is that the translation patch uses the UPS spec, which requires a certain ROM checksum or else it won't work, and that checksum changes after applying the save patch. Use this program to patch it on Windows, or this program, which runs on http://www.zophar.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1542 Java, to patch it on other operating systems. If neither of those work, and you're using a slot-1 flash cart, try a homebrew tool called GBAExpLoader which will let you run GBA games from your slot-1 card if you have a GBA expansion pack such as the 3-in-1. This method is tedious if you've never dealt with homebrew before because you need to use something called DLDI, although you don't have to worry about that if you have an R4 because it does it automagically. Be sure to https://forum.starmen.net/forum/Games/Mother3FanTranslation/Catchall-Save-Issues-Topic read the readme included in the zip file! Posted almost 8 years ago Quote Permalink meteorite I believe I have a problem. I have an R4 with an EZ Flash 3-1. I SRAM patched it with gbata (0.7a) and tried to copy it to the NOR memory with GBAExpLoader. When I get it running, I can't save. Patching it with the save fix just makes it crash at the Game Boy screen (I still see the Nintendo logo). What am I doing wrong? Doesn't care. Posted almost 8 years ago Quote Permalink Chichimi Forgive me, I'm kind of a newbie at the emulator stuff. I just really wanted to play Mother 3. xD; So, I downloaded the patch. The Save-fix one and applied it. After a moment or two of pretending it saved my game, my computer pops up with the error, "Error Creating File Battery Saves…" I think I tried a save state as well, and got the same error. (Save state is when you go to the menu and click "Freeze State," right?) I am running a Mac, with VBA 1.7.4. I am willing to try the lower version of VBA, but I couldn't find where I could download it for Macs. If any of my issue is because of my lack of knowledge of emulators, I'm sorry, and I hope someone can still help. Posted almost 8 years ago Quote P
