Since than a number of errors has been added. Some of the informations presented are found on the internet and some gameguard check error ran online are tested by us.What is this Game Guard ?nProtect GameGuard (sometimes called GG) is an anti-cheating software developed by INCA Internet. It is installed alongside many Asian massively multiplayer online roleplaying games (MMORPGs) such as Lineage II, 9Dragons, Cabal Online, Phantasy Star Universe, GunZ: The Duel, Flyff, PangYaand Ragnarok Online to block malicious applications and common methods of cheating. nProtect GameGuard provides B2B2C (Business to Business to Consumer) security services for online game companies and portal sites.GameGuard hides the game application process, monitors the entire memory range, terminates applications defined by the game vendor and INCA Internet to be cheats (QIP for example), blocks certain calls to DirectX functions and Windows APIs, and auto-updates itself to change as new threats surface.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameguardLots of the problems caused by Game Guard are due the large use of proxy servers. Error 100 - This indicates gamemon error 110 that GameMon.des is already running. Close GameMon.des or Execute the game again. Also it may be caused by a virus gameguard error 115 infecting your PC. Update your Anti-Virus to the latest version then Scan you PC. In the event the Error 100 continues, try to scan your PC with another Anti-Virus. Try closing the program by doing this command: CTRL + ALT + DEL to open up Windows Task Manager. End the process of GameMon.des and WarRock.exe. In general, it seems like some software on your PC is preventing NProtect from loading. Please verify that you have administrative access to the PC you are using, and that you have shut down all nonessential software. Error 110 Nprotect has already been loaded, hit alt+ctrl+del or ctrl+shift+esc to open the task manager, open processes and end proces gameguard error 114 of trose.exe and GameMon.des. Error 112 Please be sure your PC is free of viruses, and that sufficient memory is available. You may wish to make sure your virus scanning program is up-to-date and functioning properly, and that you do not have too many other open programs. Error 115 Game has been executed multiple times, or GameGuard is already running. Close the game and restart. Error 120, 124, 141, 142, 150, 153 Your installation of NProtect is either incomplete or damaged. Please delete the GameGuard folder and repatch MapleStory, or try clicking on the [Check Files] button. Error 155 This means that you have a serious virus or Hard disk corruption. Try restoring it via http://www.microsoft.com. Error 170 Delete the GameGuard folder and run the patch program again. Error 230 The other fix is to just uninstall MS completely and reinstall it. Error 340 1. Click on Start 2. Click on run 3. Type c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc and click ok 4. Delete ''Hosts'' file. Error 350 The NProtect patcher was cancelled. Restart Maplestory. Error 360 Be sure that your firewall is exepting Maplestory or delete the GameGuard folder and run the patch program again. Error 361 Check if you are authorized to use internet and check if your Internet is working right or not. If that doesn't work just re-Download Game guard. Hope this helps. 13th April

First of all I had AVG installed before and there were no problems. I had to delete AVG yesterday and I installed Avast! The same time I reinstalled Lineage 2 completelly. After that I got GG errors=114,160(<=not sure about numbers). I deleted and reinstall GG. After that appeared another error=170 and I got no idea if it avast does or something else. Some antivirus program see Lineage II as being a threat because of how their binaries are compiled. To the antivirus program that does not know about this compile method it sees it as a possibile threat and either blocks to deletes it. Thing is if the game detects GG as being disabled (blocked) it will spit out an error message because you have to have GG enabled to be able to run the game.
