It has trouble installing when there is trash left over from a demo version (or any version for that matter). Error getting file security" Causes: Roaming profiles Solution: AutoCAD is not getting file security designed for Roaming profiles or folder redirection. The program tries to deposit files in the user profile space and this error is a result of limited permissions. It may be possible to get folder redirection to work, but it is not a tested setup. Make sure the System account has "Full Control" of the "My Documents" folder, or the path listed in the error. Also, you may need to disable "offline mode" for the redirection in the GPO Console.
