It is a Gigabyte X58A S1336 DDR3 ATX motherboard with Award BIOS (I think gigabyte beep codes 1 long beep anyway). No picture and can't get into BIOS. George More about : short beep error code mktoater 15 November 2012 02:42:17 The one short beep is usually when it "posts" and then goes http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=816 to the bios. It's normal. What is the model of your motherboard, GA-X58A-???? Could be "UD7" or similar. I'm guessing you mean Socket 1366? What is your video card? My mobo is a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R with an Intel I-7 950 CPU, 3x4GB Crucial DDR3 DIMMs, 64GB SSD as system disk with 1TB and 500MB Western Digital SATA hard drives. Graphics card is an MSI GTX 670. When I posted I'd eliminated all possible causes for the lack of video signal, don't even get the BIOS screens so card isn't even working in standard VGA mode. 1. The GTX670 is new (originally had a GTX 580 which exhibited the same systems and I'd figured it had to be the card or the power supply). 2. Both with the GTX580 and the GTX 670, I'd tried a different graphics card (NVidia Quadro) and this gave a video signal, system booted successfully into Windows. 3. Tested the NVidia Quadro, the GTX670 and the GTX580 in all PCI-E slots. Only the NVidia Quadro gave a video signal at all (and in all 3 slots). 4. Cut my KVM out of the loop in case that was th

Windows will not load into or beyond login Now I have replaced the video card with this one. Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100292DDR3L Radeon HD 5450 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card After replacing the video card the computer was non-responsive, after testing the PSU I found out it had gone bad. I found it weird that it blew up at the same time I replaced the video card. I did take the proper precautions with an anti-static wrist band while doing both jobs. This is what I replaced the original PSU with.
