Nov 2013 Location Crestline, CA Beep Codes for a gigabyte MB Does anyone know how to read the beep codes on a Gigabyte Z97-UD3H MB? I cannot find anything at their website. Not sure if I fried it or if it is something else. seems to be wrong.. I can get into Windows (7) just fine, and the system seems to be running great at this award bios beep codes point. I did have some other codes that I was able to clear up by reseating memory, reseating a video card power cable, etc.. I just built this system last night. Repeating (endless loop) Memory error Check for improperly seated or missing memory. 1long, 3short No gigabyte motherboard video card or bad video RAM Reseat or replace the video card. High frequency beeeps while running Overheated CPU Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow. Repeating High/Low CPU Either the CPU is not seated properly or the CPU is damaged. May also be due to excess heat. Check the CPU fan or 5 long beeps BIOS settings for proper fan speed. Award specifies these codes as the only valid beep codes. If anyone knows of any others, please forward them to me for posting. Submitted by Stu. Continuous beeping, each lasting about three seconds. The beeping does not stop. Seems to be CPU related. Submitted by baders.
