MP3 file Cannot open a WMA file File opens in GoldWave goldwave download but not other programs "No codec" error when saving an MP3 file The LAME encoder is required for saving MP3 files. Please see the audacity FAQ for information on how to install LAME. Recent versions of GoldWave will try to install the LAME encoder automatically. No storage available or device not ready. What does it mean? I have more than enough storage and wat device isn't ready anyways? But when I load small mp3 like 3-5MB it works fine. This happened after goldwave crashed once. I reboot, reinstalled but still the same. What gives? Thanks. I'm pretty sure that's the problem - GW constantly creates "undo" buffers of the whole file. I decided to upgrade the drivers in an attempt to get it working again. After upgrading drivers the error notice "Invalid floating point operation. 00x0452C21, Module: Goldwave.exe" comes up and the program freezes when GodWave is loaded. Any ideas out there as to what might be going on and what can be done to fix the problem? I had posted here and in the GoldWave forums. GoldWave gave the answer. There is an option to ignore floating point errors in GoldWave's setup.
