Try: REPAIR TABLE ib_posts; Your table may be crashed. Oct 15 '06 #2 P: n/a torpecool Yes, I agree with the previous responder. But before you do a repair table, you can do a "check table .... extended" to see what the problem is with the table... just in case you want to know. Also... it is important to note that during the repair process several records from the problematic table may be lost. I just went through this a few weeks ago. I had a table with about 1500 records in it. I was getting 134 error message. After repair... about 6 records were lost. I'm not sure how to get around this, but I thought I would call your attention to it so that it doesn't come as a surprise. First you need to upgrade. Wait and watch the frontpage of this site as 1.4.18 is about to be released and is the latest stable version. or upgrade now to 1.4.17 and then later to 1.4.18HoudoeHein Logged Documentation! - READ it!Search - Use it!Do not PM me unless asked to do so! marcus123 Coppermine newbie Offline Posts: 5 Re: mySQL error: Got error 134 from storage engine « Reply #2 on: April 14, 2008, 11:33:57 AM » Hi Hein, Okay, have downloaded 1.4.17. I started getting this error for the db_cache table. The only thing I did was delete a product that was in multiple categories. Would that be the cause? After I deleted and refreshed the page, the product correctly disappeared. I don't know when this error started appearing. Anyone know how to fix it? got error 134 TIA, Susie 5 Apr 2008,04:01 PM #2 susb8383 View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Zen Follower Join Date Feb 2008 Posts 129 Plugin Contributions0 Re: 1030 Got error 134 from storage engine Ok, fixed. I didn't realize it was a server (database) error and not a Zen Cart error. Got a tip from another forum that fixed it--I ran Repair on the database. Note for newbies like me: in cpanel you won't find this under PhpMyAdmin, you'll find it under MySql Databases. First I ran Check Databases to confirm the error on the table (the full error I got said the error was in db_cache) and then ran repair. The database you need to repair will be username_zc1 (or 2 or 3, etc. if you have more than one instance of zen cart installed). Most people would know this, but as I said, I'm a newbie. 18 Apr 2008,02:58 PM #3 trappersam View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles New Zenner Join Date Jun 2007 Posts 16 Plugin Contributions0 Re: 1030 Got error 134 from storage engine Thanks susb8383 for answering you own question i am a newbie too and i was about to panic until i saw you fine words.
