AD' I checked the permissions of all our Group Policy objects (some had Enterprise Domain Controller Read permission missing which I fixed) and there are no other issues I know of. In the first part it complained abouta DNS error and should the IP of a server which I know is NOT a DNS server. Checked Ipconfig on server and they were fine (weird). Any ideas? < Message edited computer boot policy processing failed by pjhutch -- 4.Jul.2008 4:41:48 AM > _____________________________Peter Hutchison MCP Exchange Administrator University of Huddersfield Post #: 1 Featured Links* RE: Prepare AD error - 5.Jul.2008 11:14:43 AM Exchange_Geek Posts: 1287 Joined: 31.Dec.2006 Status: offline Prima-facie its too difficult to even guess some thing, since it looks as if Exchange was not able to get the query resolved from your DC with regards to the GPO for xyz reasons. Is it possible for you to copy paste the installation errors from the Exchange setup logs and couple of lines before the error occurred to understand the problem better. P.S - if possible rename the log and try the cmdlet again. Thanks for help anyway.
