Upon checking the log files, the only thing that jumps out at me is "Error: [0051] User: ()" I've checked Google and Knowledgebase, but that error code doesn't come up. Anybody have an idea what that error code is? And/or a link to some documentation that explains it? This is running GW 8.0.2 (12/11/2010) on SLES 10 SP2. All of our POs are configured to use LDAP Authentication only, without SSL. by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] I saw the exact issue last week and just removing or adding a server in the pool makes it work. Multiple LDAP servers running (not clustered). Not aware of a solution. >>> "Adam Kuhn" 06/05/12 3:32 PM >>> Wondering if anyone has seen this issue... GW8.0.2 HP2 (the latest https://forums.novell.com/showthread.php/429221-Error-0051-User public version) running on SLES11/OES11 cluster. I have two LDAP servers configured in the pool. The POAs are supposed to retry a failed server after 5 minutes, however, if the LDAP services migrate to different nodes the POA will never retry that server. Once both have migrated - well no http://ngwlist.com/pipermail/ngw/2012-June/166053.html one gets to login! The POA reports error 0051, corresponds to LDAP error 81 (cant contact server). From the LDAP side there is no attempt to communicate. If I reconfigure the LDAP pool - change the IP then change it back - as soon as that admin message gets to the PO it starts using the "new" LDAP servers in the pool without any issue. The only TIDs I find refer to SSL/cert problems, doesn't seem to be my problem. If no one is aware of this as a known issue I will probably open an SR. thanks,Adam _______________________________________________ ngw mailing list ngw at ngwlist.com http://ngwlist.com/mailman/listinfo/ngw Previous message: [ngw] Test - I need one reply (not everyone please) Next message: [ngw] Import & Export from Oracle into GroupWise Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] More information about the ngw mailing list
