Environment Novell GroupWise 2012 Novell GroupWise 8 Product: Situation Symptoms:An Error: "8509 TCP/IP services on your system may not be configured or installed" is received when loading the Post Office Agent on a Linux server. Resolution Corrective Actions:1.Check the Network Address Settings in POA properties in ConsoleOne .2. Rebuild Post Office database.If after doing above steps it does not get resolved then follow step 33.Manually add IP address of the Post Office Agent in its startup file. The problem can also be caused by an incorrect IP address used in the POA startup file. Look for the IP switch and update the value to the correct IP address. So for it works good on our Win XP desktops but our Win 2003 servers are having a couple of issues.We are using VirusScan 8.5 patch 6, Mcafee Agent 4.0.1180 and AntiSpyware 8.5.0.163.On our windows servers we run Groupwise for Windows version 6.5.7. The MTA seems to work but the POA errors out with a message "TCP/IP may not be configured" and then terminates.
