Groupwise Error Cannot Load Spell Checker Resource Module
load spell checker resource module. Two different machines were getting the error "cannot load spell checker resource module" when trying to spell check an E-mail. cause We used a utility called FILEMON.EXE to glean the information for the work-around in this document. fix By using the utility FILEMON.EXE available at www.sysinternals.com, we came to find that GroupWise was looking for some files with a 12.3 file name vs. an 8.3 file name. We had removed GroupWise from the machine, however the problem still did not go away. We could have re-formatted the hard-drive of the machine, however we decided to do the following to work around the problem. Rename the Writing tools DLLs that were being called with an extra 4 charachters added to the name. So for example GroupWise was trying to look for a file called WTSP61MSuiop.DLL so we renamed the WTSP61MS.DLL file to WTSP61MSuiop.DLL and that resolved the problem. NOTE: Deleting HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WritingTools fromt the registry did not resolve this problem. note Re-installing the GroupWise Client from another Software Distribution Directory solved the issue for one customer. I am assuming that the person who installed GroupWise was an Administrator with full rights to the root of "C". And you are having users log into a profile that does not have this right. To fix, is easy, if you are using NTFS. Locate the files that start with "WT" at the root, and grant the user profile rights to them. -- Lindsey Johnstone One of the XanaDudes, posting with 1.16.3.1 Post Date : 2004-06-16 02:46 Author : Groups novell.support.groupwise.6x.clients Other Messages Re: F1 (Help) !!exec/ax25shell.jsComputer models all appear to show AlexRE: Custom Web Calendar IntegrationRe: Android 4.1.2 arrive sur Galaxy SII ©2016 Erie Data Systems
