Disabled" Discussion in 'PC Gaming & Hardware' started by charlie., Nov 5, 2007. Nov 5, 2007 #1 charlie. n00bie Messages: 41 Joined: Aug 1, 2007 It appears that, even after many long years of waiting, the half life ol' "Node graph out of date, rebuilding" and "A.I. Disabled" bug still plagues Half-Life 2 on Windows XP x64. Sigh. This is a pity, since you *really* need a 64-bit architecture to make Valve's loading times bearable. Anyway, I bought the orange box and wanted to play HL2 and Ep. 1 again before playing Ep. 2. I fired up HL2 (or tried to, at least) and was thwarted by half life 2 this bug. Has anyone found a work around or solution, yet? P.S.: Anyone who claims this only affects pirate copies can go sit, alone, in a dark corner and amuse themselves. That myth has been debunked many times, even though Valve may continue to use it as an excuse to not fix this. I'm running a legal copy, from Steam. I'm not even running in offline mode! charlie., Nov 5, 2007 charlie., Nov 5, 2007 #1 Nov 5, 2007 #2 RangerSVT [H]ard|Gawd Messages: 1,997 Joined: Jun 7, 2007 Sorry for my ignorance and choice of words, but what fucking bug are you talking about? Also, why would you need 64-bit to make valve's loading times bearable, they're definitely fine on 32bit operating systems, I've never heard of long load times on Half-Life 2 or any of it's releated mods/episodes. Please describe your problem in detail, considering the fact that this is the first i've heard or read about your problem, you make it seem as if it's a wide-spread issue, which is not, considering the lans I go to are filled with Vista32 and 64bit computers running Half-Life 2 and moderations for it, as well as different other games.
