I played around with it a little just to see what I could do. The problem came about when I attempted to use the "Create" function within the software I got the following http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/299451-Cyberlink-Power-Director-7-Create-Function-Problems! messages: Components initialization failed. There might have been problems during installation. Please reinstall again. Creat Disk page initializing error! Components initialization failed. There might have been problems during installation. Please reinstall again. I have uninstalled and re-installed four times now with the same error message. Is there some special codec(s) that I need or is it something else entirely. Any help would be greatly appreciated. When accessing the application from a browser, the following message is generated in the server’s Application event log: Log Name: Application Source: Active Server hard drive Pages Event ID: 5 Level: Error Description: Error: The Template Persistent Cache initialization failed for Application Pool ‘My Classic ASP App’ because of the following error: Could not create a Disk Cache Sub-directory for the Application Pool. Find the ASP Compiled Templates Folder There are several articles, including MSKB 332097, that say you have to give NETWORK device not ready SERVICE Full Control of the ASP Compiled Templates folder. But where is that folder. Most articles refer to Windows Server 2003, and it’s moved under Server 2008. This article has a great trick to locate the folder: type the following at an elevated command prompt: %windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd list config -section:system.webServer/asp On my machine, that returned the following:

Unable to Initialize Disk Started by SinisterMatti , Nov 14 2015 08:53 PM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next Please log in to reply 16 replies to this topic #1 SinisterMatti SinisterMatti Members 9 posts OFFLINE Posted 14 November 2015 - 08:53 PM I purchased a used MSI laptop last night and decided to do a clean windows installation. The laptop has a 250gb SSD (where I installed the OS) and a 500gb HDD, both internal. Before reinstalling windows 7 64 bit both storage drives were functioning perfectly. After the install the 500gb drive doesn't show up in My Computer. When I go to disk management the disk shows up as "Disk 1" status "Unknown" and "Not Initialized." The partitions that are functioning correctly are my SSD Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition) and Data Healthy(System, Active, Primary Partition). I right click on Disk 1 and go to initialize disk and I'm prompted to use either MBR or GPT. No matter which option I choose, I get the error "The system cannot find the file specified." I've verified the HDD is showing up in Device Manager and I've searched for new drivers with windows saying the driver is up to date. Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I've been googling it for the last hour and haven't found anyone with the exact same problem. Edited by hamluis, 15 November 2015 - 06:40 AM.
