When trying to create partition I get this error message : Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again. But when i check my drive under disk utility it says that my drive is already in MacOS External (journaled). What could the problem be? I posted this previously but I haven't got any suggestions. I currently have no partitions. My time machine is dead, can I re-format without back-up? If I don't have any partitions why wont some files transfer?
