Go to Control Panel and open Problem Reports and Solutions. Click on View Problem History and post back what you see (word for word) on the date that you got the error message. It's probably not a required startup and you should be able to disable it using msconfig. It's just toshibaregistration.exe that has stopped working and it's not needed at all. Hit the Windows Key plus r on your keyboard and type msconfig in the Run Box and click OK. Click on the Startup Tab and look for the below entry (it may not look exactly like this but should be quite similar). [Toshiba Registration] C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Registration\ToshibaRegistration.exe Uncheck the entry and reboot. You will get a message about Selective Startup. Check the box that say's "Do not show me this again" (or similar wording). Did this fix it?
