I don't know whether this can be anyhow related to the Zipabox, but tomorrow you will get the new firmware anyway. Let's wait for it and if the problem persist, we can check it out what is happening. Reply URL PowerUser 1 Milan Gulis ● 3 years ago Hi Regarding HMS100, they have a know problem where they stop responding after one day, stops sending data, in which case only by pressing a blue button would again wake up the device but this depletes battery very quickly. If you notice that kind of behavior return your HMS100 under warranty. I was messing around with the electricity tab on the configuration page and ever since then, I get the following error message every minute or so in the HS Log: Insteon: Event ISY Parse_event: Energy Event Error. How do I resolve this? I am not https://community.zipato.com/topic/homeseer-hms100-motion-error running the module that tracks energy but I assume I changed a setting that is doing this. I was messing around with the electricity tab on the configuration page and ever since then, I get the following error message every minute or so http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/2711-energy-event-error-with-homeseer/ in the HS Log: Insteon: Event ISY Parse_event: Energy Event Error. What version of the HS plug-in are you running? I think what you might have enabled the "flex your power" setting. This periodically sends a "flex alert" message which has a different format from the other electricity messages the ISY sends. The plug-in didn't know how to parse the "flex alert" messages. With version .39 or .40 of the plug-in, these should be parsed correctly and you shouldn't be getting that message. If you are, then that means there's still something I'm not parsing correctly. In this case, set the plug-in's log level to "ALL" and capture the messages around this error for me. That should give me enough information to fix the plug-in to parse them correctly. Don't forget to set the log level back, when it's set to ALL, you'll be getting a huge number of log entries from the plug-in. -- Bob Paauwe MainLobby Plug-in: http://www.bobsplace.com/mlisy/ HomeSeer Plug-in: http://www.bobsplace.com/ISYInsteon/ Elve Driver: http://www.bobsplace.com/ISYDriver/ Back to top #3 Michaelv Michaelv Advanced Members 173 posts Posted 02 July 2009 - 09:00 AM Hi Bob, I updated the plug in to .41 and I have not seen the error since so I guess I am ok.
