If there are two rows of numbers the top row will be a 5 digit number and that is your radio anti-theft code. If there is only one row of numbers and they are about 9 or 10 letters and numbers that is the serial number for the radio. If you have the serial number you can call your honda dealer and they can look up the radio code from the serial number. if the tag isn't inside the glove box, take out the ashtray and check behind it to see if its glued on there. If not there, check under the trunk lid. The dealers usually put the stickers in on of those places. if there is no sticker, try to do this: with the ignition key "ON" and the radio OFF, hold in the station buttons numbered 1 and 6 at the same time. then as you're holdign the buttons in, turn the radio ON. if this works, you see a series letters and numbers. the first will start with the letter U and then 4 numbers followed by the letter L and four numbers. If this comes up, write them down and call your honda dealer and give them the numbers starting with the U numbers then the L numbers. That is the serial number for the radio. This only works on some models so I can't guaranty it will work on yours. lastly,

or cared to understand was the "Anti-Theft" light located on the CD player that blinks every few seconds. The car does not have an alarm on it, so http://www.scottmanning.com/journal/000490.php I thought it might have just been for show. Well, when the battery died on the car the other day, we found out exactly what it does. After jump-starting the battery back to life, the car worked fine except for the CD player. Any time I'd try to turn it on, it would ask me for a code. I had no idea what it was talking about. After a few unsuccessful tries at guessing the honda civic code, I went to the manual. It turns out that if the CD player loses power, the "Anti-theft" feature kicks in. Each car has its own individual code and can only be obtained by the dealer. Apparently, I was supposed to have received a card with the magic code on it. No such luck though.I called the dealer. They looked up my info and said they do have the code, but they can't give it over honda civic code the phone. "We can't verify that you are you."I said, "But I am me. Ask me anything. Birthplace. My mom's maiden name. Whatever.""Sorry, sir. This is for your own protection."Well, after a physical appearance at the dealership, the CD player is once again operational and the code is tattooed on my left chest. Their security was definitely impressive. I just wish more companies who hold much more valuable information took the same measures. There is a product you can buy for about $12 from your local parts store (ie NAPA, O'Reilly-if you have those) that's called a Memory Saver. It's powered by a 9V batt. that plugs into your cigarette lighter, so that when your battery is not functional or the wires are unhooked, it retains all the necessary information and saves you a butt
