Published on Nov 12, 2013Yesterday the battery died in our Honda- honda civic radio code error 2 and after the hassle of replacing it I thought all was well- until turning on the radio today. No radio- no AM, no FM no Bluetooth Audio- all I got was the mysterious message- "Enter Code." After a silent drive home I researched what had happened and found out that newer Honda radios have a theft-deterrent feature whereby after being disconnected from the battery they "lock up" and won't work again until a security code 2010 honda civic radio code error e is entered. My owner's manual told me I should have received this code number with my owner's manual kit. Digging through the pouch I found the credit card sized card with my radio unlock code. Turned out I didn't need it because there is a way with a button to reconnect your radio and make it realize it is "back where it belongs- in your car." Doing the button technique worked and I didn't need to enter my radio code, but at least I found it and copied it into my owner's manual since that is much larger and I am less likely to lose it.Professionally Closed Captioned CC by Get Transcribed Category Science & Technology License Standard YouTube License Show more Show less Loading... There is no longer anybody able to pull codes for you. What you need to do is look throughout your car for a sticker that has it..this could be in the glove box, inside the fuse box or several other places..if you cannot locate it then you will need to Retrieve your radio serial number by holding down the #1 and #6, turn the radio ON, and the serial number is displayed in 2 parts. Only works after the radio says CODe on the display. (or should be on the back or your radio) Record your vehicle Identification number. Once you have that then you need to visit.. https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ If you are not the one who bought the car from the dealer and have not updated your information you should do so. Visit http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/ But for now lets continue. since you cannot fill out all the required info then all you need to do is call 1-800-999-1009 With all your info.
