Disconnect the battery negative terminal for a minute or so, make sure you leave a door open so the dome light drains any residual charge. Reconnect the battery negative terminal (always disconnect negative first and reconnect negative last). When your head unit displays CoDE enter the 5 digit code on your card. Where is the error code, on the radio? You just need the reset code (it's hidden somewhere in the car) and you can re-enable the radio. Usually it's on honda civic radio a card that they give you when you buy the car. 01-20-2011, 05:56 PM #3 (permalink) kcdirtbro54 Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: wichita, ks Age: 30 Posts: 83 perry Now that you have an Error E code you need to disconnect your battery again and touch your positive and negative cables together for 10 seconds and reconnect them to the battery. this time when you turn the key on with the radio off, hold the 1 and 6 buttons and then power on the radio. right down the 8 digits that the radio displays and call Honda or PM me those numbers and I'll give you your radio code. Or if you have your radio card in the glovebox you can just input the 5 digit code. 05-04-2014, 03:03 PM #4 (permalink) jewelb26 Junior Member Join Date: May 2014 Posts: 1 I retrieved the code from the radio which is U2521 ?L8526 now I just need the unlock code?
