Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens. Posted on 2008-05-14 Web Browsers Windows XP 1 Verified Solution 3 Comments 5,979 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-08 I have several legacy non-domain machines that access the internet through our corporate proxy server. I do not control the proxy but I believe it is a Bluecoat proxy appliance. I used to get asked for credentials when I would access the internet https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23403394/How-can-I-manually-set-the-credentials-for-a-proxy-server-if-it-is-not-prompting-for-them.html via the proxy but now it just displays: Appliance Error (configuration_error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: "Account is locked out." For assistance, contact your network support team. Is there a way I can manually give it the credentials? Perhaps a .PAC file or something along those lines? password Password checking; password; checking; check; not enabled; change password; change; changing; Notes ID password; notes id; id; error; Your account is locked out; configuration document; person document; password digest Technote (FAQ) Question Password checking is not enabled in your Lotus Domino application. When you attempt to change your Notes ID password, the following error message displays: "Your account is locked out." Answer One possible cause of this error is an old password in the "Password digest" field (Person Document --> Administration --> Password Management section). Workaround 1: 1. On the server that displays the error message, go to the Domino Directory > Person Document > Administration > Password Management section. 2. Delete any contents in the "Password digest" field. 3. Save the Person Document and.retry entry. Workaround 2: If this does not resolve the issue, then determine whether the "Internet password lockout" feature is configured (this is a new feature in the Configuration Document in Domino 8 and later releases). Workaround 3: In another case, the issue was resolved by running Fixup, Updall, and Compact on the Domino Directory.
