The one rh7-1657 you replaced is Fan 5 in the diagram, but the error refers to Fan 4 in the diagram. by dmzcompute on Mar 9, 2007 at 4:49am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Per HP:It was discovered that the http://www.laserprinterservices.com/hp9000errorcodes.html .X part of a 57.X error code does not match with the fan number you would expect, based on the Service Manual.57.1 Cartridge Fan Fan 5 57.2 Not used Not used 57.3 Power Supply Fan Fan 1 57.4 Formatter (Controller) Fan Fan 2 57.5 Delivery Fan (Front) Fan 4 57.6 Facedown Tray (Center) Fan 6 57.7 Delivery Fan (Rear) Fan 3 57.8 Duplexer Fan Fan 2001 HP put out a service note with manual corrections in 2004. by Stephen on http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/45803 Mar 9, 2007 at 5:12am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks stephen the fault was a bad connection on the fan 4, the printer is now working fine by unknown on Mar 9, 2007 at 8:59am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 The credit goes to DMZ, after reading his post I started doing some research and found the updated chart. by Stephen on Mar 9, 2007 at 5:01pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 StephenI have HPLJ 9000 with a error code of 57.3.I replaced fan 3 and it did not fix it.So the next step is to replace fan 1 is that correct.Any help Terryc by terryc on Jun 5, 2007 at 2:49pm Add comment Please sign in to comment I have HPLJ 9000 with a error code of 57.3.I replaced fan 3 and it did not fix it.So the next step is to replace fan 1 is that correct.Any help - Anonymous 0 The list I posted should be accurate. The LaserJet 9000 manual is WRONG on fan errors!!! by Stephen on Jun 5, 2007 at 2:53pm Add comment Please sign in to comment StephenYou are correct sir.I replaced fan 1 for the error 57.3 and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the help. - terryc 0 HI ,I HAVE A CLJ9500 PRINTER WITH A ERROR 57.7 ERROR,I'VE REMOVED THE DUPLEX UNIT BUT ERROR PERSISTS.GENERALLY ERROR 57 REFERS TO A F
error. Power cycling the printer eliminates the error but only temporarily. We're ordering a http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/48136 replacement fuser (don't have one on hand) but will other parts be needed? (ie: fuser motor, DC controller?) Respond to this 1 Welps! After inspecting the fuser some more, I noticed that one of the two plugs on the fuser was barely hanging on. (I'm referring to those two protrusions that "plug" into the printer when you hp 9050 install the fuser). My guess is that after a day or two of usage, the plug lost contact. After replacing the fuser, all was well. by lgorski on Jun 6, 2007 at 12:10pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 59.3 is not in the service manual.59.X A printer error has occurred where X is detailed error hp 9050 below.0 Motor error.1 Motor startup error.2 Motor rotation error.Turn the printer off and back on to continue.Reseat connections to the DC controller.Replace the print cartridge.Perform a service test.Replace the main motor.Replace the DC controller.Did some research, edited the post...59.3 and 59.4 errorsThe 59.3 and 59.4 errors are related to the fuser/delivery motor but were left out of the service manual.
