By blocking the carriage way it forces the machine to come up with an error code and it switches itself off. The panel is now showing an error code which the video explains how you can read and determine which error you have on the machine. out. Nothing in the manual gives the option of these 3 being shown together. There are no paper jams in the machine, the carriage moves, I'm stumped, anyone any clues? Thanks in advance Mike. Respond to this 1 I just started to have this exact same problem with my Designjet 130, so I know how frustrated you were. I hope you found an answer for... The paper jam, the finger pushing a button & the sheet of paper crossed out. If you did please tell me what you had to do to fix your designjet 130 ???Thanks, Bill by Spectrum314 on Apr 9, 2009 at 10:29pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Finally fixed this problem with the 3 error symbols , some how the driver was changed to just the 130 instead of the 130nr (I have the roll feed printer). Just go to printers and faxes in the start section, then select your printer and click on it, then select "set printer properties" then select "advanced" and under "new drivers" make sure you have selected "Hp designjet 130nr" then select OK at the bottom and your back in business. I hope this helps someone because it was extremely frustrating experience for me... - Anonymous 0 Does this error message appears when you turn on the printer or it goes to ready but error appears when you want something to print? If you are using Tray1 you can check in your drivers is paper source set to Tray 1. If the error appears when printer is turned on you can open top cover when printer is off and check paper sensor which is located on right side of paper path under carriage rod, 10-15 cm left from your carriage (when printer is properly turned off). It looks like a small black rectangle with 3 wires coming out of it (black, red and blue) please check is this sensor mounted good.If this error appears when you want to print something please check does printer properly feeds paper, use your hand and move paper gently toward to printer to help printer to pickup paper.Regards by Tomislav on Apr 30, 2008 at 10:44am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Quick question.
