Solved Install issue: XenApp 5 Feature Pack 3 on W2K8x64 Posted on 2010-06-18 Citrix 1 Verified Solution 10 Comments 1,603 Views Last Modified: 2012-05-09 I'm implementing a new XenApp server in my farm using XenApp 5 Feature Pack 3 on W2K8x64. I ran into an error while installing that led to an installation failure. I googled and found the following that completely descibes my error messages and install behavior, but the article's resolution doesn't seem to apply (perhaps because it is based on 2K3 info). http://support.citrix... If you've seen this before, or if you have an idea, let me know. I'll be grinding on it either way. right now, i'm just uninstalling all CTX apps and starting over with the XenApp install. I'll let you know if i come up with a solution. Cheers! mn 0 Question by:somoteitbe Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 6 Best Solution byTreyBcool You dont need to update your whole farm. I actually had originally built an R2 server for this, but saw some language for XA6 that looked like i would have to upgrade my whole farm to run it. (Our farm is currently a 4.5 farm).
