the duplex unit in place but in non-duplex mode give no errors. On getting the 56.2 error I press Select and then get a paper jam message 13 - opening the printer always reveals a couple of pages in the area of the duplex unit.I have tried fitting a different duplex unit but the problem is unchanged - so this probably means that the duplex unit itself is okay.Any suggestions would be appreciated. by ChrisNaylor on Jun 21, 2007 at 2:04am Add comment Please sign hp laserjet 4250n 49.4c02 service error in to comment 0 The duplex unit feeds paper under Tray 3. Somtimes a page or two will fall down there and obstruct movement. Pull Tray 3 out and check for paper below it. That could be causing your problems. by moe on Jun 21, 2007 at 9:47am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Dear Moe,Many thanks for your posting.I took both tray 2 and tray 3 out to have a look and could see nothing wrong there - it was certainly worth a try though as I hadn't thought of that before.I still get 56.2 followed by 13.14 and a couple of pages stuck - one in the fuser and one in the duplexor. by ChrisNaylor on Jun 22, 2007 at 2:40am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 If the fuser is not a OEM but remanufactered you may want to obtain an OEM fuser since there are known issues with remanufactured fusers and duplex with the canon engine. by dmzcompute on Jun 22, 2007 at 5:17am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Many thanks for your posting. The fuser is the original HP fuser - with only 42,000 pages on the printer to date I wouldn't have thought it should be giving problems yet.I'm glad to receive suggestions though. by ChrisNaylor on Jun 22, 2007 at 7:17am Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment HP LaserJet 5SI Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-201
