I will be happy to help you.Please follow the steps below to reset the printer: 1. Verify that the unit is switched on. 2. Open printer and remove ALL cartridges. 3. Unplug the power cord from the printer. (not from the outlet) 4. Now unplug the cable form the wall outlet 5. Wait 30 seconds. 6. Plug the power cord back into the printer. 7. Plug the hp photosmart 8250 power cable directly to the wall outlet (not to a surge protector, etc) 8. Open the top cover and reinsert the cartridges. 9. Turn the unit on. 10.
