I have a VSTS subscription, but since I'm trying to install and evaluate the Trial version of TFS, Microsoft won't provide telephone support. I have installed TFS Trial on a virgin Win2K3 R2 server (single server install). There were no issues during the installation. The network is using ISA 2004 firewall. The TFS is inside of our firewall. Our client machines are outside of the firewall. I can connect to the TFS from VSTS but cannot create a project, either when I Remote Desktop into the server, or from the client machines. All required ports for TFS are open. I have searched, high and low, on the various error codes and messages, but none of the solutions have worked. 1. When connecting to TFS from the client machine I get the following error in the VSTS output window. "Team Foundation Server xxx.ucr.edu does not exist or is not accessible at this time. Technical information (for administrator): HTTP code 503: TF30059: Fatal error while initializing web service 2. The project creation fails and shows a dialog with the following: TF30177: Team Project Creation Failed, Error Unable to connect to the specified SQL Server Reporting Services at xxx.ucr.edu 3. When trying to create a project, the log file shows the following exception.
