However, we cannot use this version in our application at this time due to constraint of using VFP 7. Therefore, what I'm doing right now is attempting to modify wwHTTP for VFP 7 to check https://support.west-wind.com/Message3140T7J56.wwt for the certificate.I added the following code to our wwHTTP class to see if I can see the list of certs:DECLARE integer InternetErrorDlg IN WinInet.dll ; integer hWindow,; integer hInternet,; integer hRequest,; integer uiflags,; String lppvData lnResult = InternetErrorDlg(_Screen.HWnd,hHttpResult,12044,0x04 + 0x01 + 0x02,null)The dialog shows up, but it's empty. Our client sent us a certificate, and I installed it by right-clicking the cert and selecting install--no errors were display after the install. My question is why does the cert dialog show empty? I'm trying this on a Citrix server, so I don't know if that may have an influence on the results. To get ours to work, the certificate has to be attached to the web request. Not sure how this works using WW tools, but C# code is something like this:HttpWebRequest req = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create( theUrl );X509Certificate certificate = new X509Certificate2( cert info );req.ClientCertificates.Add(

I used a self signed certificate and followed the steps at this link to set it as trusted http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jpsanders/archive/2009/09/29/walkthrough-using-httplistener-as-an-ssl-simple-server.aspx Then I tried using the sample http error 12002 in msdn named WinHttpPostSample to connect to the http server using https. But WinHttpSendRequest API always fails with error 12044 (ERROR_INTERNET_CLIENT_AUTH_CERT_NEEDED) How can we prevent the HTTP server from sending this error or to make it not compulsory for the server to have a client certificate to proceed ? windows ssl https share|improve this question edited Mar 8 '12 at 15:22 Mutix 4,10212040 asked Oct 4 '11 at 9:25 buddy 8717 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted You can check out my post here to describe setting up https in your conditions (no client certificate required). Today I got an out of memory error after saving a PDF, then I started getting the above Internal Error. Now I am totally screwed. I can't open any .FM files. I can open .book files but if I can't edit the .fm, I can't do anything. I tried the same book as when it crashed, I tried a different book, I tried just opening various FM files that I didn't touch today. I rebooted. I cleared out the roaming profile. Nothing works, just this same error message.I sent in the crash to support but I am needing to get back to work. Suggestions? Reinstall? Buy some other product and convince everyone working in my committees to do the same? I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 247Views Tags: none (add) framemaker 12 crashContent tagged with framemaker 12 crash This content has been marked as final. Show 6 replies 1. FM writes lots of stuff there and if this running low on space, FM can start having hissy-fits.What operating system are you using and how much actual physical memory and paging space do you have?
