I had an older version of Skype at the time (not sure which version) and it remained after installing Yosemite. I get the error "disk i/o error". I disk i/o error have supplied via email the debug logs, the system information, and the console logs. Each day someone picks up the case and says "just delete or rename the skype folder in ~/Library/Application Support". I then email back saying "I have done this. It doesn't solve the problem". Another day passes. Its just broken, and skype can't help. My suggestion: change to a different product now, because if this happens to you and your company you will wish you did. Skype personnel: if you read this. The logs are attached, just post the solution below. skype.zip See more topics labeled with: Labels: disk io error Skype support useless Everyone's Tags (4): Disk IO error OS X supportuseless Flag for a Moderator Message 1 of 10 (1,611 Views) 0 Kudos 9 Replies rprout Casual Adventurer 25-09-2013 01:01 - edited 25-09-2013 01:07 Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Link to this reply Print Email to a Friend Flag for a Moderator 25-09-2013 01:01 - edited 25-09-2013 01:07 So, day 8, and elsewhere I see someone from skype has replied.
