It could be a Windows component or some 3rd party application that you installed (Antivirus, Firewall, AntiSpyware, any application that involves the use of an internet connection). Here is a link that may help you to isolate any service(s) or process(es) that may be the cause of your issue:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/331796Good luck.GA P35 DQ6 Mb, Intel Wolfdale 8600 3.33Ghz C2D CPU., 4x2Gb Mushkin DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 Ascents Memory Mods., PNY-nVidia GE Force 8800 GTS (640MB), 4-Western Digital Caviar SATA(2) HDD's (internal), 1 EIDE-USB External; Hauppauge PVR 1600 TV tuner, Dual Monitor: (1) Standard up top, (1) WideScreen below; Altec Lansing Speakers. Believe it or not there are many people who have no idea where to find answers in Microsoft's maze of webpages, ones that run you in circles and never do answer anything. Just do us a favor. Come down off your pedestal and give us some clue as to where to find the answer. So where DO we go to find answers to such wasteful questions?
