How To Compile Procedure In Oracle Sql Plus
up vote 0 down vote Always use SHOW ERRORS to see the complete compilation error stack. I don't know what error you are getting, because it works for me: SQL> CREATE PROCEDURE remove_emp (employee_id NUMBER) AS 2 tot_emps NUMBER; 3 BEGIN 4 DELETE FROM emp 5 WHERE emp.empno = remove_emp.employee_id; 6 tot_emps := tot_emps - 1; 7 END; 8 / Procedure created. SQL> sho err; No errors. SQL> To execute: SQL> exec remove_emp(9999); PL/SQL procedure successfully completed. Even after modifying according to your suggestion I'm getting the same warning. Seems I can't try SHOW ERRORS on my client. (Execute Query) –udarakr Mar 16 '15 at 6:52 The example in the documentation is executed in HR schema. So, do you have employees table? Or do you have the sample schema like SCOTT or HR? –Lalit Kumar B Mar 16 '15 at 6:54 found the problem, I need to use "Execute as single statement" feature in EQ :) Seems EQ removes semi colons by default. –udarakr Mar 16 '15 at 7:18 @udarak, ok. I added execute example from sqlplus. –Lalit Kumar B Mar 16 '15 at 7:30 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using

Cause the only thing I see right now is I receive warnings like this [WARNING] DB: Warning: execution completed with warning (SQL State: 99999 - Error http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31835904/flyway-callbacks-with-oracle-compile Code: 17110) and it goes on, without stopping. I thought about FlywayCallback interface and it's implementation but I'm not entirely sure how it should be done with compiling. I'm using Spring Boot 1.2.5 with the newest Flyway. Cheers! SQL State: 99999 - Error Code: 17110. i found this solution. check which version under this warning and that version under sql script check have Trigger or any procedure which not closed properly. close trigger or any procedure if oracle DB / end of trigger. ex: CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER Print_salary_changes BEFORE DELETE OR INSERT OR UPDATE ON Emp_tab FOR EACH ROW WHEN (new.Empno > 0) DECLARE sal_diff number; BEGIN sal_diff := :new.sal - :old.sal; dbms_output.put('Old salary: ' || :old.sal); dbms_output.put(' New salary: ' || :new.sal); dbms_output.put_line(' Difference ' || sal_diff); END; / share|improve this answer answered May 4 at 11:21 Saurav Wahid 1167 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Em

This is the following exception details. SQLException: SQLState(null) vendor code(17110) java.sql.SQLException: execution completed with warning at oracle.jdbc.driver.DatabaseError.newSqlException(DatabaseError.java:93) ... etc SQLWarning: reason(Warning: execution completed with warning) procedure in oracle SQLstate(null) vendor code(17110)I've tried removing the View Object and all the related components on the page, and reinstating them all, but the same Exception keeps occurring. The view in the db has alot of records, approximately 126,000. The query does execute and rows are returned successfully, but I don't like to look of this exception. Any help on this would be appreciated! 691Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 5 replies 1.
