During this time we hold all data loads the reason being the ECC server will not be available. I am going into the cutover activities ( which i will cover in later posts ). One of the mail issues is that after the cutover, we need to do some post cutover testing like data loadings to check that all the kind of loads are fine and properly as before the cutover. During this time we will find that when we open the Infopackage we get dumps... DUMP NAME: MESSAGE_TYPE_X Solution: Check in ECC, Tcode RSA7 ( Delta Queue ) if you can find the entry of of the datasource. (1) If the entry is not present then In your BW system go to SE38 -> Program RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE. This will ensure that the BW Init conditions in Tables RSSDLINIT and RSSDLINITSELwill be transferred to the ECC Tables ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMS. ( NOTE: the ECC Tables ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC should not have entires for this DataSource ). (2) If the entry is present in RSA7 and also in ECC Tables ROOSPRMSF and ROOSPRMSC then. In your ECC system go to RSA7 and delete the Datasource Entry. Now after doing (1) or (2) go to Infopackage and open the setting. In case of scenario after (1) you do not have to re init the load because the Program would have estabilished the delta. In case of Scenario after (2) you have to re init the load, Opening the Infopackage will not give delta option by default.
