The washing machine runs through its cycle but won't open the door when the cycle ends. If I leave the power on the F01 fault is displayed and the lights flash. I can't switch the unit off so I switch off at the wall Submitted: 3 years ago. Category:UK Appliance Share this conversation Expert: Daniel T. replied3 years ago. Hi.F01 is a motor triac fault and F06 is a program selector fault..But usually when you get the F01 error code its a control board oon the back at fault..What you can try first is check the wiring block to the motor and make sure thats all ok.Then check the carbon brushes on the back of the motor and make sure they are fine aswell..If they are fine then its proberly a faulty control board heer im afraid which will need to be replaced..But the cheaper opition here will be to have Indesit to do the repair as they offer a fixed price repair which is about £105. This will be cheaper then buying the part yourself as they will need to program the new board up anyway..And as to the F06 error code this can also be a fault on the control aswell..Sorry its not good news but if you need anymore info just get back to me..Regards Ask Your Own UK Appliance Question Customer: replied3 years ago.
